Legal basis: Article 10 of the Regulations on the Minimum Living Security for Urban Residents states that if the per capita income of urban families enjoying the minimum living security benefits for urban residents changes, they shall promptly inform the administrative examination and approval authority through the residents' committee, and go through the formalities of stopping, reducing or increasing the minimum living security benefits for urban residents.

The administrative examination and approval authority shall regularly check the family income of urban residents who enjoy the minimum living allowance for urban residents.

Urban residents who have the ability to work within the age of employment but are not yet employed shall participate in public welfare community service labor organized by their residents' committees during the period of enjoying the minimum living allowance for urban residents.
