Is it illegal for the community to ask for a social security card?

Legal analysis: The following acts are illegal use of social security cards:

1. Analog use

Deceive funds by false means such as false medical treatment and drug purchase.

2. Forge medical records and bills

Forging or using false medical records, prescriptions, inspection and laboratory reports, disease diagnosis certificates and other medical documents and medical bills.

Resale drugs

Obtaining funds by reselling drugs and other means, illegally profiting or unjustly profiting.

Lend to others

Giving my social security card to others, designated units or other units, causing losses to the fund.

5. Excessive withdrawal

The insured repeatedly prescribed drugs for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, psychosis, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis and other diseases by using the social security card, and provided them to family members and friends.

6. Use one card for the whole family.

Legal basis: Article 88 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) defrauds social insurance benefits by fraud, forgery of certification materials or other means, and the social insurance administrative department shall order it to return the defrauded social insurance benefits and impose a fine of not less than two times but not more than five times the amount defrauded.
