(1) declaration.

Those who meet the requirements for participating in the basic old-age insurance shall apply to their original work units (or current management institutions); If the enterprise does not exist, it can directly apply to the competent department of the enterprise, the street office or the relevant places in the township.

The following materials should be provided when applying: my ID card and household registration book; Employee files, labor contracts, employment registration forms, wage ledgers and other relevant original materials that can prove their work experience; If the original work unit is inconsistent with the current household registration, provide the uninsured certificate issued by the social security agency where the original work unit is located.

(2) Audit

The original work unit (or the current management organization) is responsible for the preliminary examination of the basic situation of the applicant;

County-level social security agencies mainly review the materials submitted by the original work unit or individual, and report them to the local human resources and social security department for approval after the review, and then go through the formalities of participating in the basic old-age insurance for urban workers and paying back the fees.
