I bought social security in the company, but I don't have to buy rural social security at home. Details are as follows:

1, social security need not be paid to rural cooperative medical care. General residents pay medical insurance for urban residents and employees pay medical insurance for employees;

2. Although both social security and the new rural cooperative medical system can be bought, you can only choose one of them for medical treatment and will not be reimbursed repeatedly. The reimbursement ratio of these two kinds of medical insurance is higher than that of the new rural cooperative medical system. Therefore, there is no need to buy a new rural cooperative medical system when buying social security.

The process of paying social insurance premiums for flexible employees is as follows:

1. After the flexible employees go through the registration formalities in the comprehensive service hall of the social insurance agency, the insured person goes through the registration formalities at the post office window with the post office addition form and the post office settlement account passbook printed by the social insurance agency, that is, the post office establishes the corresponding relationship between the insured person's social insurance personal number and the settlement account passbook account number, and deducts the social insurance premium from the insured person's settlement account passbook;

2. Deposit enough social insurance premiums in the passbook of the post office account before the 20th of each month;

3. The post office will deduct the social insurance premium in full from the passbook of the flexible employment settlement account from 24th to 28th of each month.

Legal basis: Article 10 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Employees shall participate in the basic old-age insurance, and the employer and employees shall jointly pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer and other flexible employees can participate in the basic old-age insurance, and individuals pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

The measures for the endowment insurance of civil servants and staff managed by reference to the Civil Service Law shall be formulated by the State Council.

Article 12

The employing unit shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium according to the proportion of the total wages of its employees stipulated by the state, and record it in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund.

Employees shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium in accordance with the proportion of wages stipulated by the state and record it in their personal accounts.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees who have participated in the basic old-age insurance shall pay the basic old-age insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations and record them in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund and individual accounts respectively.
