How to suspend social security

2. If an individual pays social security by the unit, the social security payment will automatically stop after the individual and the unit terminate the labor relationship and are temporarily unemployed;
3. Stop online social security. Log in to the labor security network or social insurance business website or human resources and social security network in your city, and select "Stop Insurance" in "Social Security Declaration". From the above, if you want to stop using social insurance, you can operate it directly on the Internet, and you need to log in to the labor security network or the social insurance network for inquiry. Moreover, the employer can directly fill in the relevant application form to stop the insurance.
The method of stopping the payment of social security benefits is as follows:
1. If you leave the original company, the company will stop issuing social security, and the company will only issue resignation procedures.
2. If it is an individual suspension: just bring your ID card and fill out a form in the Social Security Bureau;
3. The employee of the company resigns: After the employee resigns, he/she goes to the Labor Bureau for unemployment certificate and unemployment registration.
Legal basis: Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).
The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration with its business license, registration certificate or unit seal. The social insurance agency shall, within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application, examine and issue the social insurance registration certificate.
Where the social insurance registration items of the employing unit are changed or the employing unit is terminated according to law, it shall, within 30 days from the date of change or termination, go to the social insurance agency to handle the change or cancellation of social insurance registration.
The market supervision and management department, the civil affairs department and the organization management organ shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the establishment and termination of the employing unit, and the public security organ shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the birth, death, household registration, migration and cancellation of the individual.
