Does paying social security count as seniority?

Social security is length of service. At present, as long as employees pay social security, the length of service of employees will be recorded in the social security bureau monthly. Workers who reach the statutory retirement age and meet the requirements of length of service can receive corresponding pensions and enjoy medical insurance benefits.

Length of service is also called payment period. Therefore, the length of service needs to exceed 15 years to receive the pension. If you need to enjoy medical insurance, the length of service generally needs to be more than 20 years (the specific payment period of medical insurance needs to be subject to local policies).

At present, the length of service of employees is accumulated, so after the social security is broken, only the payment needs to be re-paid, and the length of service will be accumulated monthly. When the cumulative length of service reaches 180 months, that is, 15 years, you can receive a pension after retirement. If not, then you can only receive the pension paid by yourself in your personal account.

Length of service refers to the working hours of employees whose income is the whole or main source of their lives. When employees establish labor relations with the unit, the unit will pay social insurance for employees according to law. At this point, employees began to take wage income as their whole life, that is, the length of service began to be calculated from this time.
