I work in private enterprise in Kunming, Yunnan, the company bought social insurance, and now I have to resign to go back to my hometown in Bijie, Guizhou, can I transfer my insurance from Yunnan to Guizhou? Yes.

The participants in the cross-provincial mobility employment, according to the following procedures for the transfer of basic pension insurance relations:

(a) the participants in the new employment in accordance with the provisions of the establishment of the basic pension insurance and payment of contributions, by the employer or the participants in the new place of social security agencies to the transfer of basic pension insurance relations to the continuation of the written application.

(b) Within 15 working days, the social security agency of the new place of participation will review the application for transfer and continuity, and if it meets the prescribed conditions, it will issue a letter of acceptance to the social security agency of the place where the insured person's original basic pension insurance relationship is located and provide the relevant information; and if it does not meet the conditions for transfer and continuity, it will make a written explanation to the applying unit or the insured person.

(c) The social security agency in the place where the original basic pension insurance relationship is located will handle the transfer procedures within 15 working days after receiving the letter of acceptance.

(d) After receiving the transfer of the basic pension insurance relationship and funds from the social security agency in the place where the original basic pension insurance relationship of the insured person is located, the social security agency in the new place of participation shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days and notify the employer or the insured person of the confirmation in a timely manner.
