How long does it take to change the social security card?

First, the new insured person can get the social security card 50 days after completing the social insurance registration business, while it takes at least 3 months before;

Second, the insured person who supplements (replaces) the social security card can get the social security card within 4 working days from the date of application, while it took 15 working days before;

Third, the insured who applies for the social security card for the second time can get the social security card within 3 working days from the date of application.

The social security card replenishment process needs to be replenished in the following situations, and the card replenishment procedures are handled according to the same process, as follows:

1. When the card surface is dirty, incomplete or illegible, or the chip is damaged and can no longer be read and written on the special equipment, the cardholder shall go through the card replacement formalities at any branch of the card-issuing bank in our city with his ID card and the original and photocopy of the social security card;

2. If the photo on the card surface is changed, the cardholder shall go through the card replacement procedures at any branch of the card-issuing bank in our city area with his ID card, social security card and the original and photocopy of the photo receipt; The photo receipt is handled in the same way as the photo receipt in the social security card application, that is, the cardholder takes photos of the second generation card in the photo studio that has been included in the list of electronic photo collection service units of Dongguan social security card and receives the photo receipt;

3. If the cardholder's personal basic information, including name and ID number, changes, the cardholder should first bring relevant valid certificates to the social security agency to which the insured belongs to handle the personal basic information change, and then bring relevant valid certificates and the original and copy of the social security card to any branch of the card-issuing bank in our city area to handle the personal basic information change and card replacement procedures.
