The difference between unemployment allowance and insurance allowance:

1. The conditions for receiving unemployment benefits are different: unemployment benefits are not required to be interrupted by one's own will, and you can receive them if you resign voluntarily, while insurance benefits must require you to pay unemployment insurance premiums for one year before you lose your job, and employment is interrupted by one's own will, or you can't receive them;

2. Different criteria for receiving unemployment benefits: unemployment benefits can only be received for six months at the longest, and the time when people can receive insurance benefits is related to the number of years people have paid unemployment insurance benefits. The longer the payment time, the longer the collection time, and the longest collection period is 24 months.

3. Different treatment: during the period of receiving unemployment benefits, employees cannot enjoy medical insurance, maternity allowance, funeral allowance and one-time pension, but they can during the period of receiving insurance benefits.

To sum up, in principle, social security can be paid during the period of receiving unemployment benefits, but if social security is paid according to flexible professionals, it means that there is no unemployment, so unemployment benefits will not continue to be paid.
