Why can't I apply for flexible employment social security?

In China, social security is a compulsory insurance item. As long as you enter the society and take part in the work, the company needs to pay social security for its employees regularly according to local regulations. If you don't have a work unit, you are a freelancer and a flexible employee, and you need to pay social security regularly.

Flexible employees pay social security differently from enterprise employees. Employees pay social security, most of which are paid by the company, and only a small part is paid by themselves. Flexible employees need to bear all the expenses paid by themselves, and part of the expenses need to be classified as social pooling. Why not do flexible employment pension insurance?

Reason one: payment is more expensive. If it is an enterprise employee, according to the regulations, the premium is paid by the unit and the individual respectively, that is, according to the local payment ratio, the unit accounts for a part and the individual accounts for a part, and the total amount of five insurances and one gold = social security payment base * (pension insurance ratio+medical insurance ratio+unemployment insurance ratio+provident fund ratio). The premiums to be paid for flexible employment are all borne by individuals.

Flexible employees need a person to bear all the expenses, so it may take a long time to return to their original jobs after retirement.

Reason 2: There are differences in payment items. According to the relevant provisions of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the insurance paid for us by employees of enterprises includes five insurances and one fund (pension, unemployment, medical care, industry and commerce, maternity, provident fund), which requires employers and workers to participate in social security together and is mandatory. Of course, work-related injuries and maternity expenses do not need to be paid by individuals.

Flexible employees pay fees in the name of individuals and are not included in the scope of unemployment, work injury and maternity insurance. Only pay social insurance, mainly endowment insurance and medical insurance.

Reason three: retirement is more troublesome. If you are an enterprise employee, just wait patiently until retirement age. Men over 60 years of age, women workers over 50 years of age, women cadres over 55 years of age can retire. According to the law, the retirement age is 60 for men and 55 for women.

Flexible employees need to submit application materials to the Social Security Bureau for retirement, and the staff of the Social Security Bureau will review the applicant's materials and conditions on the spot. If they do not meet the requirements, the retirement application of flexible employees may be withdrawn, and the employees of the enterprise will not have this kind of trouble.

In fact, whether flexible employment is necessary is a matter of different opinions. Compared with those with work units, it is certainly not cost-effective. But if you advocate freedom and want to give yourself a guarantee in the future, it is definitely a good choice to pay social security for flexible employees.

Whether to run flexible employment pension insurance or medical insurance depends on whether the insured can afford higher premiums. After all, the more premiums you pay, the more pensions you can get after retirement.
