How to handle social security transfer?

For social security transfer procedures, under normal circumstances, only pension insurance, medical insurance (including maternity insurance) and unemployment insurance can be transferred. Individuals bring their identity documents and resignation certificates to the original social security bureau to issue social security payment vouchers, and hand them over to the new company or transfer them to the local social security bureau. The social security bureau of the transfer place sends the transfer contact letter to the social security bureau of the original insured place, and the two parties can transfer it after docking.

Legal basis: Article 32 of the Social Insurance Law, if an individual is employed across the overall planning area, his basic medical insurance relationship will be transferred accordingly, and the payment period will be calculated cumulatively.
