Social security can be transferred, and for the insured who are employed across the overall planning area, they can go through the formalities of transferring the pension insurance relationship. Social security transfer needs to go through three processes, the insured only needs to apply, and the rest of the work is transferred by the social security departments of the two places.

Social security transfer process:

1. After the insured establishes the basic old-age insurance relationship in the new employment place and pays the fee according to the regulations, the employer or the insured shall submit a written application for the transfer and continuation of the basic old-age insurance relationship to the social security agency in the new employment place.

2. The social security agency of the newly insured place will review the application for transfer and continuation within 15 working days, send an acceptance letter to the social security agency where the insured person's original basic old-age insurance relationship is located, and provide relevant information; Do not meet the transfer conditions, make a written explanation to the applicant or the insured.

3. The social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship is located shall handle all the transfer and connection procedures within 15 working days after receiving the acceptance letter.

4. After the new insurance agency receives the basic old-age insurance relationship and funds transferred by the social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship of the insured person is located, it shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days, and notify the employer or the insured person of the confirmation in time.

5. Accumulated calculation of the payment period of endowment insurance, there is a gap in the middle, which can be supplemented or not.
