Employee social security broken inside the money can not be used

Employees can use the money in their social security account if they break the payment, as follows:

1, after the social security payment is broken, although the insured person can not continue to enjoy the basic medical insurance treatment, but the money in the card will not be cleared;

2, so the insured person can still use the money in the card to go to the designated pharmacies and hospitals to see the doctor to buy medicine, until the money in the card is used up. After the social security payment is cut off, the social security bureau will no longer make money into the participant's health insurance account every month.

The social health insurance card, or health insurance card for short, is a special card for the health insurance individual account, which uses the individual's ID card as the identification code and stores detailed information such as the individual's ID card number, name and gender, as well as details of the account's disbursement and consumption. The medical insurance card is organized by the local designated agent bank and is a kind of multi-functional debit card of the bank. After the insured unit pays its contribution, the local health insurance department will entrust the bank to pay the individual account fund to the insured employee's personal health insurance card at the end of the month.

Legal basis: Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China

An employer shall, within thirty days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If it fails to register for social insurance, the social insurance administration organization shall approve the social insurance premiums it shall pay.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance with their employers, and other flexibly employed persons shall apply to the social insurance administrative organization for social insurance registration.

The State establishes a nationally unified individual social security number. The personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
