American Bureau of Shipping (ABS, full name: American Bureau of Shipping) was established in 1862. It is a non-governmental organization, which is mainly committed to serving the public interests and customer needs, and protecting the safety of people, property and the natural environment by formulating and verifying the design, construction and operation standards of marine-related facilities. The outstanding feature of the US Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is to inspect the small and medium-sized combat ships and military auxiliary ships of the US Navy.
