The technical strength of Guangxi First Surveying and Mapping Institute

Strong technical force:

Our institute has a staff team with both high technical level and rich surveying and mapping experience. There are currently 319 employees, including 15 master's degree students, 16 senior engineers, 47 engineers, 57 assistant engineers and 131 technicians.

The hospital consists of the First Branch, the Second Branch, the Third Branch, the Remote Sensing Branch (the Fourth Branch), the GPS and Ocean Branch, the Geographic Information Center, and the Beihai Branch (not completely independent, and is temporarily composed of the Second Branch Escrow) and other 6 production units.

Well-equipped: In order to seize the opportunity in the fiercely competitive surveying and mapping market, our institute has continuously increased investment in science and technology and updated equipment in recent years. Since 1996, a total of nearly 10 million yuan has been invested (as of 2006), and a large number of advanced production equipment have been purchased. ◆ 27 large (A0, A1 format) color inkjet plotters, monochrome inkjet plotters, flat pen plotters, scanners, various printers, etc., 2 digitizers set.

◆ VirtuoZo all-digital photogrammetry system, MapGis, GeoStar, CASS7.0, GTC2000, Guangzhou real estate surveying and mapping software GZRS, SCS G2004, CitoMap, GeoWay, EPSW2000, SuperMAP, AutoDesk Civil 3D 2006, computer-aided Map making system and other software facilities.

Glorious history:

After the establishment of the institute, we completed the first-generation one-ten thousandth national basic topographic map of Guangxi within an area of ??230,000 square kilometers; encrypted and updated the land of Guangxi control network; completed more than 11,000 kilometers of national first- and second-class leveling network measurements; completed 1,298.63 kilometers of coastline and coastal tidal flat measurements in Guangxi (this achievement won the first prize of the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award).

Since the 1980s, our institute has taken advantage of technology, geography, and humanities to undertake a large number of topographic surveys and cadastral surveys in the Pearl River Delta. Among them, the cadastral survey results of some areas in Sanshui City, Guangdong were rated as excellent products; the 1:500 topographic map of the urban area of ??Zengcheng City, Guangdong was rated as a high-quality product.

In 1992 and 1993, our institute entered Guangzhou City and Shunde City to carry out digital topographic cadastral surveying, and was responsible for the entire field digital 1:500 cadastral surveying of more than 80 square kilometers in Guangzhou City, with excellent results. Reached excellent grade.

Among them, the Haizhu District of Guangzhou City undertaken in 1995 and 1996, the Liwan District (Shangxiajiu District) undertaken in 1997, and the 1:500 full field digital cadastral survey of Tianhe District undertaken since 2000 have all been completed. Rated as a quality product.
