Overview of Jiaxing Power Plant

Jiaxing Power Plant is located in Zhapu Town, pinghu city, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to Zhapu Port in Hangzhou Bay, 90km east of Shanghai and 0/22km west of Hangzhou/KLOC-0. Its location is the most economically developed area in China, with huge demand for electricity. The first phase of the project is a construction project of Zhejiang Province and the central government. 1992 started, and two 300,000 kw domestic coal-fired generator sets were installed, both of which were put into operation on 1995. The second phase of the project is located on the west side of the first phase. Originally planned to introduce foreign capital and imported equipment, the Zhejiang provincial government and Shenhua Group finally cooperated to build and install four 600,000 kW domestic subcritical coal-fired generating units at one time, with a total investment of10 billion yuan. The project was officially started at the end of 2002, and it was put into production in succession from 2004 to 2005, and the first phase owner was entrusted to operate it. The third phase of the project consists of two ultra-supercritical coal-fired units with 6,543,800 kW, all of which have been put into operation, and the installed capacity of Jiaxing Power Plant has reached 5.06 million kW.

The company strictly controls enterprises and pays close attention to management, and keeps a number of safety production indicators and economic and technical indicators in the forefront of the same type of thermal power units. By 20 10, 7 sub-units have won the title of national first-generation reliability gold medal unit. The continuous operation of the unit has set a record for many times. The longest continuous operation of Unit 2 is 580 days, which once set a record for the longest continuous operation of 300MW units in Zhejiang Province. Unit 4 operated and maintained by the company set a national record from commissioning to unplanned shutdown for the first overhaul, and Unit 5 set a national new record for continuous operation of generating units with excellent performance of 750 days, reaching the world advanced level, and still maintains the national record for the longest continuous operation of 600MW units.
