(2) Going to Hong Kong at the invitation of foreign-funded enterprises and institutions.

1. If a foreign institution in China employs a national staff member to go to Hong Kong, the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ may go through the formalities for citizens to leave the country for personal reasons. If approved, ordinary passports will be issued for personal reasons.

When going through the exit formalities, you must submit the certificates corresponding to the reasons for leaving the country, which refer to the overseas invitation certificate, employment agency certificate and employee work permit. 3. The term of office of a unit in China ranges from 1 to 2 years. They are permanent holders of official passports, valid for up to five years.
