Four reasons why young people want to enter state-owned enterprises:

First, social status will be generally recognized. Under the current social environment and ethos, besides civil servants, state-owned enterprises are a popular entry choice. It is generally believed that people who enter state-owned enterprises will get an iron rice bowl and live a comfortable life for the rest of their lives.

Second, the wages and benefits are good. Compared with private enterprises, the wages and benefits of state-owned enterprises are relatively stable and at a high level. After working in state-owned enterprises, the pressure of life will be relatively small.

Third, the industry has advantages and little competitive pressure. State-owned enterprises have advantages in some industries, such as oil, communications, electricity and so on. Posts and fields determine that the benefits of state-owned enterprises will be relatively high, and employees need to pay less at the same time, because most state-owned enterprises have achieved a certain market position, do not need to struggle hard, and the working environment is relatively comfortable.

Fourth, the ability to resist risks is strong. In today's society, the changes in the international and domestic markets are complicated, and every industry and enterprise cannot guarantee smooth operation and encounter any risks. However, due to the special status of state-owned enterprises, most of them occupy the basic livelihood security field, and the state financial resources will give some support or subsidies at critical moments to ensure social stability. Therefore, even in the face of economic crisis, state-owned enterprises have a strong ability to resist risks. Even if there is bankruptcy, it can be well supervised and resettled.
