Small cattle and sheep slaughterhouse setting basis:

1. Paragraph 1 of Article 20 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Animal Epidemic Prevention: To establish animal farms (breeding communities) and isolated places, places for slaughtering and processing animals and places for harmless treatment of animals and animal products, an application shall be submitted to the veterinary administrative department of the local people's government at or above the county level, and relevant materials shall be attached.

The veterinary administrative department that accepts the application shall conduct an examination in accordance with the provisions of this Law and the Administrative Licensing Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).
