Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center (hereinafter referred to as the Trading Center) was established on July 20 13. It is a deputy bureau-level institution directly under the Guangzhou Municipal Government, with 26 departments and 247 employees.

The trading center adheres to the functional orientation of "based in Guangzhou, facing the whole province, radiating the Pan-Pearl River Delta and serving the whole country" and strives to build a regional and comprehensive public resource trading platform. The business scope covers the central, provincial, municipal, district, town (street) and village levels, and the business categories include bidding for construction projects, government procurement, assignment of land use rights and mining rights, procurement of medicines and medical consumables, and investment promotion for urban renewal. It is one of the most extensive public resource trading platforms in China. Since its establishment, the trading volume of the trading center has hit record highs, ranking among the top of similar trading platforms in China.

Guangzhou was rated as a first-tier city in the world by GaWC, and the China Import and Export Fair held every year attracted a large number of merchants, a large number of foreign-funded enterprises and Fortune 500 enterprises. ?
