Tianheng Accounting Firm, formerly known as Jiangsu Accounting Firm, was founded in October 1985 by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance. On January 6, 1999, Jiangsu Accounting Firm was restructured into Jiangsu Tianheng Accounting Firm Co., Ltd.

In 1993, with the approval of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it became the first accounting firm in China to obtain a financial audit license for securities and futures-related businesses. In 1993, with the approval of the State-owned Assets Administration and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it became one of the first accounting firms in China to obtain an asset appraisal license for securities and futures-related businesses. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China and the People's Bank of China, it became the first accounting firm in China to obtain financial audit qualifications for financial institutions.

On May 22, 2002, Jiangsu Tianheng Accounting Firm Training Center was established separately for social training business.

On March 15, 2005, the engineering cost consulting business was separated from the firm and Jiangsu Tianheng Engineering Cost Consulting Co., Ltd. was established.

On June 6, 2008, the asset appraisal business was separated from the firm and Jiangsu Tianheng Asset Appraisal Co., Ltd. was established.

On February 9, 2009, Tianheng obtained the People’s Republic of China* **Securities and futures-related business licenses newly issued by the Ministry of Finance and the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
