Brief introduction of Shuangqiao town

Shuangqiao Town of Shouxian County is located in the southwest of Shouxian County 12.5km south bank of Huaihe River, with an area of 1 15km2. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages and 1 street, with a total population of 60,500 and a market town population of 1900, with an area of 8,400 mu of cultivated land. Shuangqiao Town is a typical agricultural town with rich products and resources. Agricultural and sideline products such as grain and oil, vegetables, pigs, white geese, broilers and aquatic products are of high quality and sufficient quantity. It is a high-quality grain base and one of the demonstration areas of high-yield wheat scientific research projects in the county, and has won the title of advanced township in agricultural production for many years. There are national 2A-level scenic spots, such as Shouzhou Sun Champion Memorial Hall, British Cockfighting Platform, Yuanjialaofen and other historical sites, with profound cultural heritage. Shouhuo Highway (provincial highway 3 10) passes through the territory, which is 3.5 km east of Hehuaifu Expressway intersection 13.5km south of Anfengtang, the first pool in the world 15km. Miracle Expressway and the project of diverting water from the Yangtze River to the Huaihe River plan to set up a road (entrance) in China, plus an industrial park of 5 square kilometers in the county town, high-speed railway station in Shouxian, Shanghai and Hangzhou, and Shuangqiao.
