Hefei Kejing Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise established in 1997 as a joint venture between the American MTI Company and the Anhui Institute of Optics and Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (MTI Company holds 80.23% of the shares). It is located on Kejing Road, Hefei City, Anhui Province No. 10, with a registered capital of 42 million yuan. The company’s chairman, Dr. Jiang Xiaoping, graduated from Northeastern University (1981). Academician Chang Xu, a professor at the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, received his doctorate (1988), and served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under Professor M.C. Flemings (1988-1991). He is one of the early international students who returned to China to start a business. Won the title of “Outstanding International Student” by the Ministry of Education.
