Anyue county pays close attention to the planning, construction and management of small towns, which greatly promotes the development of county economy. There are 25 key small towns in the county, including 1 national, 8 provincial and 16 city and county. In the construction of small towns, the two famous features of pomelo and lemon in Tongxian County were highlighted, the brand advantages of pure sweet potato vermicelli in Ruifa and Xingguo were brought into play, the tourism field of China stone carving art town was broadened, and gratifying achievements were made in the construction and management of small towns, economic development, spiritual civilization construction and urban cultural level. The urban area of small towns is 45.8 square kilometers, with newly built streets 10.5 kilometers. Primary and secondary trunk roads in small towns have reached the second-class standard of urban roads, and the penetration rate of tap water has reached over 95%. Eight small towns have access to natural gas, and every village has access to radio, television and telephone, and the construction of supporting facilities such as sanitation, medical care and education has been strengthened.
