Mohekou Town, located in the northeast of Bengbu City, is one of the 63 key towns in Anhui Province. The total area of the town 166.5 square kilometers.

There is a 306 provincial highway crossing Luoning Expressway in the east-west direction of the town, and there is a high-speed entrance and exit in Mohekou Town. Waterway traffic mainly relies on the Huaihe River and the existing freight terminal (Liyuan Terminal).
