Where is Cang Xie from?

Cang Xie, a left historian known as Xuanyuan Huangdi, celebrated his Christmas on March 28th of the lunar calendar. He is a figure in the ancient legend of China, and also the god of Chinese characters in Taoism. According to historical records, Cang Xie had four eyes and a natural virtue. He often observed the bending trend of Kuixing, observed the traces of birds and animals' hooves in the distance, and initiated writing according to their similarities, which eliminated the embarrassment of knotting at that time and created the foundation of civilization. He was honored as "Cang Xie of Wen Zu".

There are many state-owned monuments in memory of Cang Xie, such as Cang Xie Ridge, Cangjie Temple and Word-making Platform. Among the numerous Cang Xie and its relics, four were found in the Han Dynasty: Nanle, Yucheng, Kaifeng and Baishui in Shaanxi; Founded in the Jin Dynasty, it is divided into Shouguang, Shandong and Dong 'a; It was built in two places in the Song Dynasty: Wu Yang and Luoning.

Fenghuang guanmingtai

Fenghuang Bookstore, located in the south of Xinzheng County, Henan Province, is said to be the place where Cangjie wrote characters. In order to commemorate Cang Xie's contribution to word-making, later generations called the place where words were made in South Cang Xie, Xinzheng County, Henan Province "Phoenix Bookstore", and a temple was built here in the Song Dynasty, named "Fengtai Temple".
