Gaotouyao Coal Mine is a large-scale modern mine built by Huaneng North Company. Construction started in 2008 and it was put into operation in March 20 14. When using the trackless rubber-tyred vehicle to transport people and materials, two air shafts are vertical shafts, which are dedicated to mine air return. There are five layers of coal that can be mined in the mine, which are mined in two horizontal planes.
