Suzhou Industrial Park in Jiangsu Province is a county-level unit under the jurisdiction of Suzhou City and does not belong to any district.

199414 On May 2nd, Loufeng Township, a suburb of Suzhou, and Kuatang, Xietang, Weiting and Shengpu in Wuxian were placed under the direct jurisdiction of Suzhou Municipal People's Government, and Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee was an agency of Suzhou Municipal Government to exercise administrative functions.

In July 2002, three neighborhood committees of Donghuan West Road in Loufeng Town of Suzhou Industrial Park were placed under Pingjiang District, and two neighborhood committees of Donghuan West Road were placed under Canglang District.

In 2003, Hulin Village in Kuatang Town was placed under the jurisdiction of Loufeng Town.

On September 30, 2004, the Chefang Neighborhood Committee of Lu Zhi Town in Wuzhong District and nine villages of Qian Chao, Henggang, Lijia, Dacang, Jinyuan, Etian, Wang Bang, Huayun and Cheyu were placed under the jurisdiction of Loufeng Town in Suzhou City.

At the end of 20 12, Loufeng Town was abolished, and 36 neighborhood committees such as Wanxing set up Loufeng Street, and 38 neighborhood committees such as Xietang set up Xietang Street.
