It's not up to you to decide whether to enter a nursing home or not!

According to the 65-year-old age group, friends born in the fifties and sixties will soon enter old age, or have already entered the elderly society. These friends are planning and designing for their own pension.

I was also born in 6 1, and I have been working as an elderly dean for nearly eight years. Many friends, colleagues and family members of this age group are also considering their future pension problems. I often hear two sentences: "When we are old, we will go to a nursing home, so as not to burden our children." "When we are old, we will support the elderly and go wherever we want." I always answer with a smile, I hope you can understand. So, are the above two sentences wrong? That's right. Can it be realized? Most people can't achieve it. Listen to my opinion:

First, it's not up to you to decide whether to enter a nursing home or not.

First, whether to enter a nursing home must be decided by the legal guardian (usually children or immediate family members) of the residents. Even if the elderly want to live in a nursing home, they must be implemented by their children. Without the immediate guardian's company, the old-age care institutions will not accept the elderly (except for special groups), and they must be accompanied by a guardian and sign an occupancy agreement before they can move in. Guardians should decide whether to send them to nursing homes according to their own financial ability and the physical condition of the elderly.

Secondly, the vast majority of the elderly care for the elderly at home, according to the requirements of the national 9073 pension layout plan (90% of the elderly care for the elderly at home, 7% in the community, and 3% in the pension institutions) and market demand, most pension institutions are reluctant to accept the elderly who take care of themselves because of their low cost, high risk, difficult management and poor efficiency, which is not only a government-guided plan, but also a market law.

Third, physical fitness is the key. No one wants to live in a nursing home. After all, families are free, and old-age care institutions tend to accept disabled and semi-disabled elderly people. But when you can't take care of yourself and depend on others to help you survive, and your children can't take care of you for a long time, a nursing home or a domestic helper is your only choice.

Fourth, you may not be able to live in a nursing home in the future. Many people always plan their future pension with the current pension status, and the future pension market and the status quo may be greatly different. According to your meager retirement salary, many people can't afford to live in nursing homes, mainly because the labor cost is too high in the future, which will be further elaborated later.

As mentioned above, whether to stay in a nursing home is not entirely up to the elderly. To a great extent, it is children's decision, physical decision, economic basis decision, policy decision and market decision. It is difficult for the elderly to decide whether to live in a nursing home. This is the present situation of providing for the aged, and it will be the same in the future. Therefore, there will be situations where you want to live in a nursing home but you can't live, and you don't want to live but you have to live. There are too many such examples in reality.

Second, the problem of holding a group to support the elderly.

Many good friends and colleagues are planning their future retirement, and even some people in their 40s are planning their future retirement. They said, "When we are old, we will go to provide for the aged together and find a beautiful place to eat, live and play together." That's a good idea, but I think there are three conditions for holding a group to support the elderly:

1, health status. In more than ten years, everyone will be 70 or 80 years old. Will they still be healthy? Will their health conditions be very different? It is necessary to know that holding a group for the elderly must be basically healthy, and it is possible for the elderly who can basically take care of themselves to hold a group. Old people with different health conditions cannot huddle together, and disabled, semi-disabled and self-care elderly people cannot live together.

2. Economic foundation. Economic foundation is the premise of holding a group to support the elderly. The economic conditions are very different, so it is impossible to support the elderly, and the consumption concept and consumption ability are different. If others spend 1 10,000 a month, your spending power will not reach. You can hold on for a month or two, but you may not be able to hold on for three or four months. It is difficult for others to invite you to dinner three times, so this difference in economic conditions is not suitable for holding a group.

3. hobbies. Old people have formed their own ideas, living habits and hobbies, and it is almost impossible for anyone to change them. Therefore, people with different hobbies should have the same hobbies, the same language and habits, and can talk, play, eat and live together.

Holding a group to support the elderly is not a random combination, not just a talk. It is also possible for some friends to get together once in a while and travel together. But when you really have such a long-term pension plan, you must think clearly about what kind of physical conditions, economic conditions and hobbies you want to embrace, and then implement it.

Third, the difficulty of providing for the aged in the future.

1, there is a shortage of nursing staff for the aged.

At present, there is a widespread phenomenon that care workers are hard to find in various pension institutions. Good care workers are in desperate need, but they can still be recruited basically, because there are surplus laborers in the countryside. Most of the present nursing workers are middle-aged women in rural areas, all around 50 years old, who can bear hardships and stand hard work, while young people and laid-off workers in cities rarely engage in pension work. We have been recruiting nursing workers for a long time in our apartment for the elderly, and it is difficult to find a suitable candidate for 10. Many candidates are unwilling to pay anything, such as taking care of the elderly, taking care of urine and accompanying. I once met several middle-aged people who applied for nursing care, and they all looked more stable and mature. I have repeatedly stressed that to be a care worker, you should live in a nursing home for a long time, without any burden, and you should not be afraid of being dirty, especially the disabled elderly. ). As a result, I sneaked away without finishing my work in one day, and I was too embarrassed to tell me that I couldn't do it. Dirty, tired, boring, long hours and low salary are the main reasons for the lack of nursing staff at present. Young people, educated and capable people are unwilling to do it, preferring to choose other jobs with low wages. Some high-end old-age care institutions also have young people as caregivers, also to take care of some self-care and semi-self-care elderly people inspired by high technology, but after all, they are very few and cannot represent the needs of the public.
