Brief introduction of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University

The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University (Fuzhou First People's Hospital) is the only third-class first-class general hospital in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province. Founded in 1949 as the rear hospital of the Seventh Hospital of China People's Liberation Army, it was renamed as Fuzhou Branch of Jiangxi Provincial Hospital in July, 1949, and renamed as Fuzhou District People's Hospital in June, 1978. In 2000, it was renamed Fuzhou First Hospital, and in 2007, it was named Fuzhou First People's Hospital. In September 2009, I was honored to join the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, which is the center of medical treatment, first aid, teaching, health care and scientific research in Fuzhou.
