Brief introduction of Honglai town

Hongse has a long history. In 504 AD, Nan 'an County of Fengzhou was established in Liang Wudi, and the neighboring Honglai gradually formed a market town. After the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, Honglai commercial port wharf began to prosper. When the East Stream in the upper reaches of Jinjiang River flows to the tail of Xilin Lake, the terrain is inclined downward, there are many pebbles in the stream, and the flood in Laitou is swift, so it is called Honglaixi. The market town by the river is called Honglai Town.
