IELTS test arrangement in 2022

As of 202 1, 12, 3 1, the IELTS test schedule for 2022 has not been announced. The IELTS test time is basically set on Saturday or Thursday every week, and the deadline for registration is basically 16 days in advance. The location will be announced after registration.

There are many IELTS exams every month, and there are about 48 paper and pencil exams every year. IELTS test sites are located in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hefei, Hohhot, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Suzhou, Nanchang, Qingdao, Shanghai and Hangzhou, and basically every city has test sites.

The IELTS test is divided into four items, namely, listening, reading, writing and speaking. The time of each event is different. The first listening test lasts for 40 minutes and the topic is divided into four parts. Candidates will have a short time to review after listening to each recording (but they will not repeat it, so they should write the answer immediately).

The fluency and coherence of language, the change of vocabulary, the richness of sentences, the accuracy of grammar, pronunciation and IELTS examiners are all graded according to these four standards, which are equally important.

The recruitment and training of IELTS writing and speaking examiners are carried out according to the established standards, so as to ensure that raters understand the relevant IELTS scoring policies and effectively grade listening and reading papers according to the scoring standards. Each test center will be systematically monitored, and a certain proportion of the answer sheets will be scored twice.
