Duigougang Town is located in the southeast of Lianyungang City (affiliated to guannan county), the East Bridge Fort of Eurasian Continental Bridge, bordering on the Yellow Sea and facing Japan and South Korea across the sea. Guanhe River and Xinyi River, the golden waterways in northern Jiangsu, run through the whole territory and blend with the Yellow Sea, known as "Huangpu River in northern Jiangsu"; Xinyi River Dam, the first dam in Asia, is in China. The provincial highway passes through the territory, and the 204 national highway is closely connected, and the coastal expressway is under intense construction. It is 70 kilometers away from Lianyungang, the international seaport, 60 kilometers away from the East Longhai Railway, 70 kilometers away from Lianyungang Civil Aviation Airport and 60 kilometers away from Huaguoshan, a tourist attraction, only 3 hours' drive from Nanjing and Shanghai. The "Golden Triangle" of land transport port and water transport is unique, fast and convenient, and Duigou Port Town is like a bright pearl embedded in the Yellow Sea. It is a national high-quality cotton base and commodity grain base, and is known as "the hometown of high-quality japonica rice", "the hometown of crab seedling breeding" and "the hometown of fish and rice". With a total population of 86,000, the town governs Duigou, Dazui, No.10 Team, Huangyao, Donggou, No.9 Team, Liu Zhuang, Siwei, No.89 Team, Wangzhuang, No.8 Team, Wudang, Liuji, Dongyao and No.5 Team Township, with an administrative area of 155.48 square kilometers, and four neighborhood committees.

Duigougang Town is rich in marine resources and is known as the "land of plenty". Its main products include nearly 100 kinds of aquatic products such as oriental shrimp, Japanese shrimp, river crab, soft-shelled turtle, yellow croaker, scallop and eel. There are 800 mu of intensive fish ponds and 800 mu of crab ponds. Crab breeding in 10,000 mu paddy field is a must in northern Jiangsu, and there are more than 20 aquatic nursery farms along the coast of expressway, forming a nursery street and enjoying the reputation of "hometown of nursery".

Development of social undertakings

Lianyungang Chemical Industrial Park under its jurisdiction covers an area of 1.2 million mu, east to the Yellow Sea, south to Guanhekou, north to Xinyi River and west to Donggou River. Guannan county Industrial Park enters the Yellow Sea in the east, only 60 kilometers away from Lianyungang, the bridgehead of the Eurasian Continental Bridge in the east. It is connected to National Highway 204 through Zhongxin Road in the west, and the waterway is connected to the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal through Guanhe River, only 70 kilometers away from Lianyungang Airport in the north.

The developed Duigou Port is connected by land and water, and the traffic is fast and convenient. There are two 220,000 volt and 300,000 volt substation centers in this area. Lianyungang Tianwan Nuclear Power Station 1 and Unit 2 will soon be incorporated into East China Power Grid for operation, with inexhaustible power resources, and high-voltage electricity can be delivered to the factory free of charge. Guanbei irrigation canal runs through the east and west of the park and is rich in fresh water resources. The national sewage river, which is two kilometers away from the park, transits into the sea, and the sewage discharged in the production process of enterprises can be discharged into the sewage river through pipelines after being treated. The east-west, north-south, north-south and central roads in the area are all more than 15 meters wide, and the transportation and water and electricity in the area have become a network system, reaching the standard of "six connections and one leveling".
