Introduction to Lianyungang Dongfang Hospital

Lianyungang Dongfang Hospital and Lianyungang Foreign-Related Hospital were established in 1939. In 1959, they were designated as foreign-related hospitals by the Provincial Department of Health. They are the only foreign-related hospitals in northern Jiangsu. Over the past fifty years, the hospital has successfully completed tens of thousands of foreign-related medical services, and has won a high international reputation for the motherland with remarkable achievements. In the 1980s, the hospital was renamed Lianyungang Third People's Hospital, Lianyungang Red Cross Hospital, and in 1994 it was renamed Lianyungang Oriental Hospital.
