What is the first thing to do during graduate school?

Therefore, the tuition fees and scholarships for graduate students immediately become the main issues of concern to graduate students. In fact, there are many scholarships during the postgraduate period. As long as you study hard enough and perform well enough, the possibility of tuition being "reduced" or even "free" is very great.

◆ Tuition fee

The general postgraduate fees are divided into two parts, one is tuition and the other is accommodation. There is also the living expenses of graduate students. This part is everyone's own expense, which varies from person to person, so it doesn't count.

The tuition fee for academic graduate students in general schools is 8000 yuan/person/year, and the specialized graduate students specialize in 12000 yuan, depending on the requirements of the school. Accommodation is generally between 800- 1200 yuan. Then there is personal living expenses. This is the money that graduate students need to spend in one year.

◆ Reward and assistance system

With the cancellation of the policy of public-funded graduate study, the corresponding countries have also increased the scholarship policy. The main scholarships in the postgraduate education stage include: national scholarships, "three-aid" job subsidies, national student loans, tuition compensation loans and so on.

I. State grants

State grants are used to finance the basic living expenses of all full-time graduate students (except those with fixed salary) who are included in the national graduate enrollment plan in ordinary colleges and universities across the country. The funding standard for master students is not less than 6000 yuan per student per year, and the funding standard for doctoral students is not less than 10000 yuan per student per year.

Scholarships and grants in general schools are 6000 or 8000 yuan, which are distributed in ten months, that is, 600 or 800 yuan per month, and some are distributed in 12 months. This part of the money is given by the state, and no one can intercept it.

Note: Part-time graduate students do not enjoy the national grant for graduate students.

Second, scholarships.

There are two kinds of scholarships: one is national scholarship and the other is school scholarship. National scholarships are issued by the state finance, and academic scholarships are issued by schools.

Academic scholarships have different regulations in different universities. Under normal circumstances, schools are covered by 100% and are divided into three grades: first, second and third. The selection of academic scholarships needs to consider the comprehensive achievements of various factors; For example, if you have a high score (total score) in the postgraduate entrance examination, how can you participate in activities? The amount of academic scholarships varies from school to school. Some schools have 8000 first-class scholarships, 6000 second-class scholarships and 4000 third-class scholarships. There are still some school scholarships that are not covered by 100%.

Note: In principle, graduate students enrolled in transfer schools are not qualified for scholarship evaluation; However, in order to attract students with high scores to adjust, some colleges and universities will give scholarships to candidates who are admitted to the adjustment, and some schools will give a lot.

Third, graduate student grants

There are two kinds of subsidies, one is issued by the school and the other is issued by the tutor. The first kind of subsidy comes from the school. The amount of this subsidy is uniformly stipulated by the school and paid to the students by the research funds of the tutor. Generally ranging from 150 to 300 yuan. The tutor's subsidy is freely decided by the teacher, and the amount is uncertain. Of course, some teachers won't give it to their students.

Four, "three supports and one support" post allowance

Colleges and universities use funds such as educational appropriations, scientific research funds, tuition fees and social donations to set up "three-aid" posts for graduate students, and provide "three-aid" subsidies. In principle, the research assistance allowance is mainly paid by the labor expenses and research indirect expenses in the research project funds, and the funds needed for the teaching assistant allowance and the management assistance allowance are borne by colleges and universities. The standard of "three assistance" allowance for graduate students is reasonably determined by colleges and universities in accordance with relevant state regulations, combined with local price levels and other factors.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) national student loan

The conditions, procedures and other relevant regulations for graduate students to apply for national student loans are basically the same as those for college students. In principle, the postgraduate loan is mainly based on the national student loan in the school, and the loan amount does not exceed 12000 yuan per academic year.

Six, retired soldiers education funds

For retired soldiers who have been retired for more than one year, admitted to ordinary colleges and universities and included in the national full-time postgraduate enrollment plan, education funding will be given. The funding content is basically the same as that of junior college students. The tuition subsidy standard does not exceed 12000 yuan per academic year.
