About converting to the Three Treasures

Conversion means "conversion" to "dependence", and it also means relief and assistance. Conversion refers to turning to the Three Treasures and relying on the Three Treasures of Buddhism, Dharma and Monks. With the blessing and care of the three treasures, the endless wheels can stop, all fears can be avoided, and all troubles and sorrows can be cared for and relieved.

People in the world can get material life by gold and silver wealth. If we can rely on Buddhist monks to "protect", we can achieve the stability of spiritual sublimation.

The book "The Way to Becoming a Buddha" says: "All living beings have been going up and down in the sea of misery from the past to the present, from now to the future, and they urgently need to rely on the navigation of Sambo to reach the other shore. However, all sentient beings are stupid and don't know how to convert. Some people know how to seek conversion, but they mistakenly believe in heresy and even are obsessed with treasure, power, family and life. In the world, but they don't know that property is shared by five families. When there is a flood or fire, they encounter thieves, evil kings, or give birth to immoral children, and their wealth will soon become empty and their lofty power will be lost. For example, as recorded in the classic of the king, the wheel king unified the four continents, and in order to ascend to heaven, he co-managed the heavenly palace with the stone emperor, and finally fell to the ground and died of grief. Dear family, once impermanence comes, we must separate; And where there is life, there is death, so life is not enough, and the country and society are always in the process of chaotic control. Therefore, all this is not a real place of conversion, so there is a saying that "conversion is everywhere and the three treasures are the most auspicious". 」

The thirty-fourth volume of "On Adamo's Great Pipasha" says: "People are forced by fear and turn to mountains, gardens and jungles, and there are many lonely trees. This transformation is not a victory, nor is it glorious. If you don't convert, you can get rid of all suffering. Those who return to Buddhism and become monks according to law, in the four noble truths, observe with wisdom, know suffering, know how to transcend all suffering, know the eight sacred ways, and enjoy nirvana. This shelter is the best, and this shelter is the most distinguished. So, you convert, and you can get rid of all the suffering. 」

This kind of conversion means deep confidence, believing that the three treasures of Buddhism, Dharma and Monk are really the real conversion places and can attract all kinds of merits. Knowing that Sambo has such merits, he vowed to be a disciple of the Buddha and believed it. He begged Wade of Sambo to bless him and bring his body and mind to Sambo. He no longer believed in monty and heretics.

The tenth volume of the Mahayana Sutra says, "Refutation means refuge." . Returning to the phase, such as the son returning to the father; According to Fu's meaning, as the people depend on the monarch, as fear depends on courage. 」

Generally speaking, conversion is faith. I hope to get outside help and help from others. This is someone else's religion. Of course, it is meaningful to convert to Buddhism, but besides that, there are still some places I don't want to teach foreign teachers, because the deepest meaning and ultimate goal of conversion is to convert to myself and myself. That is, the Buddha taught his disciples the true meaning of "self-nature, law-nature, and no distinction" at the Nirvana Conference. This clearly shows that disciples should rely on self-reliance, learn by orthodox methods, and become Buddhas by themselves according to their own Buddha nature. Therefore, one's body and mind is the nirvana of Buddhism. Being able to have such an understanding is the true meaning of conversion.

Why do you want to convert to Sambo?

Those who convert to the three treasures, if they get a panacea, can cure the heart disease of greed and ignorance; Such as lights, candles, stars and the moon, will lead us astray; Sailing in the sea of suffering can get rid of the sea of life and death; If the poor get the treasure, it will solemn our body and mind.

Volume 14 of "All Houses" says: "Can converting to the Three Treasures really relieve people's suffering? 」

Volume 10 of the Mahayana Righteousness Chapter also cites three points to convert to the Three Treasures:

1, stay away from the evil and unkindness of life and death.

2. In order to be born into nirvana.

3. For the benefit of all beings.

"You Po Sai Jing" said: "In order to break all hardships, except troubles, and enjoy the joy of great silence, I converted to the three treasures by karma. 」

"Prajna Sutra" says: "All saints are famous for inaction, and inaction means that there is no other reason for leakage. As a result, the three treasures live forever and are not deceived by the laws of the world, so they are called treasures, just as the treasures of the world are valued by all beings. Today, the three treasures belong to all the students, three transgressions and seven times to them. 」

"The Book of Good Life" said: "One person gets three times, and the results are endless, such as Four Treasures of the Study, which the people of the whole country can't ship out in seven years." Those who convert to the Three Treasures are more blessed than others. 」

"Buddha said that there is a need to test merits and demerits" said: "If Buddhas come to three thousand realms, such as bamboo, reed, sugarcane, rice and hemp, they will really realize. If there are good men and good women, two Wan Li, often with all kinds of entertainment tools, clothing, food, beds, soup, medicine, all kinds of offerings and even extinct, collect their relics and build seven towers, all with Koge's ci music as the topic. Buddha said: Ananda! It is better to be a good man and a good woman, and say this sentence with a pure heart: I am going to Buddha, Dharma and Monk. The merits obtained are hundreds of times and thousands of times more than the previous merits, which are uncountable and unspeakable. 」

"Za Agama" says: "I will convert to the sky and enjoy it for life. It is your own child who is pregnant, and it is self-sufficient; After being born, he has knowledge and opinions and will convert to the three religions. A guest with a handmaiden is pregnant with a child, so she teaches. If you buy a handmaiden, you can accept the purchase of three conversions and five precepts, but you can't accept it. Even begging for loans and raising interest rates have to go through three conversions and then join them. If there are three treasures, from the Buddha, it is said that the name curse is the birth of heaven. Buddha's words: Good! If the Tathagata has supreme knowledge, it is convenient to know and everyone is born. Therefore, it can be seen that the conversion to Sambo has the greatest merit and has to be accepted. 」

In the metaphor of French sentences, it is recorded: "Indra's five virtues left his body, and five failures coexisted, until he died." Now he is going to fall into a beast and get a donkey's tire in a family that specializes in smelting pottery. Indra immediately rushed to the Buddhist temple, kowtowed as a gift and surrendered to the Buddhist monk. Before he got up, his god knowledge had reached the belly of Tao Jia donkey. At that time, because the donkey was not tied by a rope, it destroyed the blank in the action, and the owner whipped it, causing its abdominal pain and the fetus was injured instantly. His gods immediately returned to their original bodies, and his five virtues were also prepared, and he was restored to Heaven. At that time, the Buddha said that Indra knew the importance of impermanence, the change of sin and joy, and the root of rise and fall. From then on, I was happy to believe in the three treasures and got the classics.

In addition, "Old Miscellaneous Metaphors" records: "When the Buddha is the mother, one day, one life will be exhausted. After his death, he was born in exile, exhausted his country and became a child in the womb of a sow suffering from scabies. At that time, there was nothing he could do about it. One day, someone told him that he went to the Buddha for help and immediately went to the Buddha to pay tribute. The Buddha told Heaven and Man: "If you want to get rid of Pig and Eight Rings, you must convert to the Three Treasures. On the third day, heaven and man listened to the advice of Buddha and turned to refuge at dusk. Seven days later, Tianren's life was exhausted, because he had converted and gave birth to Weiye and left the country as the eldest son. 」

From what has been said above, we can know that the merits of conversion are enormous, so all living beings should convert to the Three Treasures. With the blessing of the Three Treasures, we can purify the body and mind, stimulate good deeds, achieve everything, find back the value of life, re-recognize our precious and pure nature, and develop the Tathagata, equal Buddhism and pure sincerity of every sentient being.

Procedures for converting to the Three Treasures

Converting to the Three Treasures is the basis of believing in Buddhism and learning Buddhism, and it is also the basis of accepting all the commandments. Therefore, there are two transformations:

1. Three conversions: Those who convert to Buddhism for the first time are called three conversions.

2. Re-accept three conversions: after conversion, you will be punished at home or become a monk, and you will have to re-accept three conversions every time you are punished. This is a name.

Converting to the Three Treasures is a precept for believers in the family to enter the Tao, so they should seek the acceptance of a witness.

Agama said: "Before you accept confession, you must repent first, and then you can give it to Sanjiu. 」

"Great Wisdom" said: "I want to be influenced by the times, and I want to cultivate my dignity. Before becoming a monk, I should be warned to talk about the two laws of good and evil, so that I can know evil and good, arouse my disgust, enlighten my mind, and then give me a cloud:

"One of my armor (calling his own name) lived to the best, converted to Buddhism, converted to Buddhism, and converted to monks." (Three remarks)

"One of my armor (calling his own name) lived to the best, converted to Buddhism, converted to Buddhism, and converted to monks." (Three remarks)

The first three conversions and three conversions are the orthodox religion of the three conversion commandments, and the last one is the three knots of the three conversions. The person who accepts the three conversions is in the orthodox religion.

According to Ming Jing and the law, before converting to this teacher, converts must first repent seriously, be respectful and pure-hearted, kneel with their hands crossed, and make their own vows according to the teacher's instructions-

"My disciple ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○; Do your best to convert to a family, and you will be respected by everyone. " (Three remarks)

"May greatness be remembered and compassion cherished. I am an excellent woman, and I will protect my life from now on, even to the end. Convert to Buddhism, convert to law, and convert to monks. " (Three remarks)

In addition, regarding the ritual procedure of converting to the Three Treasures, according to the law of "Three conversions for new collections, five precepts and eight precepts", the law is as follows:

Teach those who seek three conversions first, so that they can respect themselves, crouch in front of our teacher, cross their hands, the teacher will teach you, and you will learn from me:

"One of my armor (named by his name) has turned to Buddha's bipedal image, Buddhism, desire and Sangha since this life." (So three said)

Shi Yun: "Ogunga". 」

Answer the cloud: "The Imperial Capital (translated as Yunshan). 」

The size is multiplied by two, and the method is hidden; Five articles get together and get rid of Mu Cha; Twelve points, the right to teach the law; Eight sects, displaying holy books; The desire to leave is really clean and a deep magic weapon. Guanyin, Shi Zhi, Manjusri, Pu Xian, Jinghai people, Great Bodhisattva; At the Fa Conference, Youbo left the venerable one; Western heaven and eastern soil, the founder of past dynasties; Lin Ji authentic Shang Ruo Xia Shun monk. I just hope that I will not violate this oath, take photos with goodwill and come to the Dojo to prove my alliance!

At the Illuminati, four heavenly kings of Buddhism, Tianlong Babu, Wei Tuo Galand, Land God, Dharma Protector, King of God, King Kong Lux and supernatural beings were sent. I just hope I won't break this oath. I will drive here, be merciful, be happy and protect the altar!

Seven. oath

Good men, good women and so on. Come forward to welcome Sambo. At this time, Sambo Ciguang took pictures of your body and mind. Now you have sincerely converted to the three treasures and sworn in front of the three thrones. I have something to ask you, and you should answer it sincerely.

The monk asked, "You are good men and women. Today, you are willing to convert to Buddhism, learn from Buddhism, and never convert to heretics. Can you do it? " 」

Conversion: "Yes. 」

The monk asked, "You are good men and women. Today, you voluntarily convert to the law, take the law as your teacher, and never believe in cults. Can you do it? " 」

Conversion: "Yes. 」

The monk asked, "You are good men and good women. Today, you are willing to convert to monks, take monks as your teachers, and don't learn from outsiders. Can you do it? " 」

Nine, confession, oath (a word of worship)

All evil deeds created in the past are greed and stupidity without beginning or end.

Today I regret all the body, language and meaning I have born.

All beings have endless vows, endless troubles and endless vows.

Unlimited vows to learn Buddhism and Taoism.

Ten, conversion (monk read one sentence, conversion and then read one sentence)

1 .. convert to Buddhism, Buddhism, and monks.

Convert to the Buddha's two-legged statue, convert from the desire to the law, and convert to the monk.

Convert to Buddhism and never convert to heresy;

Convert to the law and never believe in cults;

Convert to a monk, don't follow heterodox disciples from generation to generation.

Convert to Buddhism and never fall into hell;

Convert to the law and never fall into animal nature;

Convert to a monk, and never be reduced to a hungry ghost again.

Twelve. Return direction

Compassion loves all dharma circles, cherishes blessings and benefits others;

Zen is pure, forbearing equality and forbearing, ashamed and grateful.

Fourteen, thank the teachers (a bow)

There are some special explanations in On Saboda. For example, a mute who can't speak can't answer himself, and he can also get three transformations by answering instead. If he could talk, he might not be able to stand it. In addition, disciples seeking to convert to Buddhism will not convert to Buddhism if they call it Buddhism first, because the three treasures are different and cannot be reversed. Ignorance, unless disgust, say something messy, otherwise innocent, can become a disciple of the three converts. If you know in advance and say it on purpose, you have committed a crime, and you can't realize the three transformations. The object of three transformations: If you are interested in five ways, you will get three transformations. When it comes to the place of conversion, except for the extremely heavy hell, even under the trees in the mountains, the open sea, the caves in the wilderness and the bright hell can all be converted.

The Tripitaka says: "If a pregnant woman is afraid of pregnancy or wants her fetus to be safe, then she will accept three conversions first, and the fetus will be safe. Even after the birth of the fetus, the body and mind are healthy and all good spirits are supported. 」

Precautions for converts

After asking for the teacher's conversion certificate, most people said that they had converted to a certain mage. In fact, the person who converted was a Sangha, not a mage. Therefore, all monks who convert to monks are my teachers, whether they are virtuous or stupid. They should respect propriety as a teacher and call themselves disciples. They should not praise me for being slow, nor should they arbitrarily distinguish between wise men and fools. This is the first thing that converts should pay attention to.

Secondly, people who believe in Buddhism and study Buddhism often convert only once, not three times. For example, those who believe in Buddhism but don't listen to the dharma respect monks, or respect monks who don't respect Buddhism and smell the dharma, even regard Buddha as a god, and only seek promotion and wealth, happiness and longevity. These are not real Buddhists. Buddhists who truly convert to the Three Treasures must be close to good knowledge, listen to the scriptures and smell the dharma, and worship the Buddha and the monk, so as to achieve good deeds.

People who convert to Sambo have the following questions:

First, conversion is not vegetarianism, abstinence or becoming a monk. Converting to Sambo is just an oath to believe in Sambo for life, and I swear not to change my faith.

Second, you can respect God, ancestors and pagans by converting to the Sambo, but you should know that respect and conversion are different. Respect is courtesy, and conversion is to dedicate your mind, body and heart to the Sambo.

Third, conversion to Sambo is not a conversion again and again, but the end of life. Yoga precepts: not converting for a day is a violation of the precepts. Conversion is not only a conversion to Buddhism, but also a conversion to the Sangha, not to the individual.

Therefore, after conversion, we should use Buddhism to adjust our body and mind, strengthen our faith, change our temperament, turn past greed into joy, hatred into compassion, laziness into courage and diligence, negative pessimism into positive optimism, and then seek five precepts at home and eight official pavilions. So as to enhance our belief level and plant the seeds of interest in Bodhi.
