How was Zan Mountain razed to the ground?

The 62nd division of "Ruo Mao Bing" crossed Qiantang River, advanced into Jiahu area to carry out guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines, and rebuilt Tongxiang county government in rural areas, with Siyi Yang, an adjutant and Hunan native, as the county magistrate. Zhu Junmin was appointed as the head of Qingnan Township by Siyi Yang at this time.

Jinniutang is a main north-south passage in Tongxiang, connecting the canal in the south, Kangjingtang to Tongxiang county in the south, Wuzhen in the north, and passing through burners in the middle, so the cargo transportation is busy. After the Japanese army occupied the county town and Wuzhen, there was an endless stream of material delivery. The bow of a Japanese ship is very big, like ordinary people's sandals, so it got a very vivid name: Puxietou boat. Pusher's first ship rampaged, and people and ships avoided it, and they hated it. In order to block the enemy's traffic, the 62nd Division of "You Mao Soldiers" decided to cut off this main road, and this task finally fell on Zhu Junmin, the head of Qingnan Township. Zhu Junmin visited Jinniutang along the way and chose the narrowest section north of the furnace head to build a dam. Another advantage is that there is a small earth mountain by the river, which is convenient for borrowing soil, so he mobilized the people along the river to fill the river and build a dam. Because this place is close to Wuzhen, I am afraid of disturbing the devils stationed in Wuzhen during the day, so I choose to do it at night. The officers and men also actively cooperated, pretending to be farmers to summon up courage to refuel. The soldiers and civilians first cut down the sapium sebiferum and the fire mulberry trees on the shore, threw them into the river, and then picked up soil to fill them up, and then withdrew in the early hours of the morning. The next day, the Japanese ship arrived, saw that the river was blocked, and took people ashore to dig. It was too slow, so they knocked it open with a small steel. In the evening, the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians filled it out again, so they dug it up 20 times at night and almost dug up the mountain.

Last winter, the author went to a relative's house near Yuanlang Mountain to be a guest and chat with others. Speaking of Lushan Mountain, an old man said that when Jinniutang was excavated in the 1960s, he took part in earth borrowing and saw Lushan Mountain, which was just a small mound. Later, a soil leveling movement was carried out in the countryside, and this small mound was completely leveled. It can be seen that Daishan was mainly razed to the ground during the Anti-Japanese War. From this perspective, Daishan is active in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
