Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences is located on the shore of Nanhu Lake in Wuchang, Wuhan, which is a scenic spot, and is located in the core area of the National Nanhu Agricultural Science and Technology Park. Its predecessor was1950165438+10/4, which was established by the state. Its earliest history can be traced back to 1908, when Zhang Zhidong, governor of Huguang, opened the Nanhu Agricultural Experimental Field. 1978 was officially named Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a comprehensive agricultural research institution directly under the Hubei provincial government. The main responsibility is to engage in agricultural applied technology and applied basic research, research and develop agricultural scientific and technological products, popularize and apply agricultural scientific and technological achievements, and provide scientific and technological support for the development of agriculture and rural economy in the province. Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences is the only comprehensive agricultural research institution directly under the Hubei Provincial People's Government. At present, there are 8 research institutes and centers, including crop breeding and cultivation, plant protection, soil fertilizer, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, fruit tea and sericulture, biotechnology, irradiation processing, agricultural detection and scientific and technological information, and biological pesticides, and 37 research rooms.
