Suzhou Yiyuan Scenic Area Introduction:

Built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, it is the private garden of Gu Wenbin, a rich gentleman. East is the former residence of the Prime Minister of Ming Dynasty, and west is the expansion of Gu. Yiyuan Garden was built at the latest in Suzhou gardens, so it can absorb the advantages of Suzhou classical gardens, learn from others' strengths and be unique. Yiyuan Garden is divided into two parts, east and west, separated by a cloister, and the walls of the cloister are decorated with flower windows, from which we can see that the garden scenery on both sides is particularly deep and tortuous.

The west is the focus of the whole park, with landscape layout as the mainstay. There is a long and narrow pool carved in the center, and the surrounding pools are equipped with peak stones, flowers and trees, which is natural and beautiful. Lock the green porch is the starting point of the west. From here to the west to the mountain, a hexagonal pavilion named Canglang stands on the top of the mountain. There are three big stones behind the pavilion, such as screens, engraved with the words "three screens overlap", which is one of the strange stones in Qiayuan. The main building in the park, the northern half hall of the four-sided hall is called Lotus Champs, and there is a platform in front for lotus viewing in summer, so it is also called "Lotus Hall".
