In February 20021year, the organizational structure of Tencent Interactive Entertainment Group was adjusted again. The original multiple game product departments, cooperative product departments and related business support departments were cancelled, and the self-developed studios such as Mei Tian and Photonics were adjusted accordingly. Since then, tencent games's business has been divided into five major sectors, namely, functional departments, self-developed studios, game distribution, international product operation department and IEG Global. In terms of personnel, Ren Yuxin, chief operating officer of Tencent, is the president of IEG business group, and Ma Xiaoyi, senior vice president of Tencent, reports to him. If the game is self-developed, it will be submitted by the studio belonging to the self-developed studio group, and then the president of the studio group, the heads of each sub-studio, the market and relevant heads will conduct internal review. After passing, the game will be packaged and proposed (including game introduction, world outlook, art, gameplay, operating income plan, etc.). ), and submitted to the jury composed of the person in charge of the distribution line, the presidents of major self-research studios and related businesses and expert groups for review, and the project can only be established after passing.
If it is an agent game, the distribution line project team and the game business department will look for high-quality products from outside, get the corresponding demo and submit them to the distribution line evaluation center. After passing the review, the game will be put forward and submitted to the review meeting for review. After it is passed, the project can be established.
