Basic situation of Shiling town

Shiling town, referred to as "Shiling", is also called "Shiling". Located in the east of Chengdu, it is famous for its ten tombs of Shu kings in Ming Dynasty. Shiling is the main area of Chengdu's eastward development, which belongs to the east sub-center of Chengdu and is about 10 km away from Tianfu Square in the center of Chengdu.

Shiling Town was originally named Shiling Township. Later, according to 1993 and 1995 archaeological investigations, it was found that there were five tombs of Shu kings, two tombs of county kings and three tombs of princesses in the Ming Dynasty. This is what people often say today. Therefore, at 1994, Yuanshiling Township, where this tomb is concentrated, was approved by the government when it was withdrawn from the township to build a town. Shuming Mausoleum in Chengdu is a group of tombs belonging to Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of Ming Dynasty, which is located in front of and behind the foot of Zhengjue Mountain in Shiling, east of Chengdu. This tomb, excavated in 1979 and announced by the State Council as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 1996, is the tomb of Zhu Zhu, the grandson of the first generation of Zhu Yuanzhang.

The top ten tombs in the Ming Dynasty are centered on the third generation Nuo tombs in the Ming Dynasty, and there have been ten tombs in its surrounding areas, the most concentrated of which are Ji Fei, Qianjiang Mourning King, Zhao Wang, Ci Fei and Banbianfen County King. Therefore, the Ten Tombs are named.

Two tombs of Nuo and Zhao have been excavated from ten tombs. 1979 After archaeological excavation and cleaning, more than 500 precious cultural relics such as glazed terracotta warriors and dancers were unearthed. The underground palace is 28 meters long, 8.96 meters wide and 6.59 meters high, and only the restored steps reach 44 meters. The round hollowed-out painted glazed double dragon plate embedded in the center of the main wall of the back hall is an art treasure of the Ming Dynasty, and the double dragon imitating Zhu Yuanzhang's head in the tomb of Zhao Wang is the only one in China. Xiling is more magnificent than Wang Jianling (Yongling) and more beautiful than the Ming Tombs in Beijing. With its exquisite carvings, vigorous calligraphy, rich underground palaces and concentrated tombs, it is known as the most exquisite and concentrated underground palace among the tombs of ancient emperors in China. 199665438+In February, Shuming Mausoleum was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council. At the beginning of the reform and opening up, Shiling was a traditional agricultural township, and the urban-rural dual structure was quite obvious. According to the memory of the old man in Shiling Street, the former Shiling was basically a rural area, and the only street was crossing the street (that is, a section of the old city of Luo Lu, now Shiling Old Street).

With the acceleration of urbanization in Shiling, the agricultural population is only 1 10,000. After continuous construction and transformation, rural traffic extends in all directions.
