This "Gresham's Law" in economics (bad goods drive out good money) is equally applicable not only in the field of economic life, but also in political life and other social life. This is also the key reason why China cannot fundamentally solve the problem of credit anomie. "Faith" is the foundation of all virtues, and it forms many related morals. However, due to the rapid social changes in the transitional period, the adjustment and creation of moral norms adapted to modern society lags behind the development of other aspects of society, and many moral principles, including "honesty and trustworthiness", have been ignored, forgotten or even abandoned in many fields. At the same time, the maintenance of integrity can not be separated from the guidance and supervision of public opinion media. In recent years, public opinion media has played a great role in encouraging the advanced, advocating honesty, lashing the backward and exposing falsehood. However, we should see that in some places, sometimes due to the wrong ideological guidance (especially local protectionism) and the consideration of interests, the media of public opinion can often not effectively expose and stop the false unrealized image in time. Third, the lack of social integrity has both practical and historical roots, and the negative influence of backward traditional ideology and culture distorts the sense of integrity. The basic requirement of honesty is truth. Without truth, there is no honesty. However, during the long period of feudal autocracy in China, the fate of the people will change at any time because of the temporary joys and sorrows of those in power. Lying and flattery can often bring benefits to people, but honesty often suffers, so many people can't insist on seeking truth from facts. This negative and backward ideology still exists under the condition that our current democratic system is not perfect and the social democratic atmosphere is not strong, which is an important reason for the lack of integrity in society (especially in the ideological and political field). Fourth, the lack of social integrity also contains various subjective factors. Among them, some people are eager for quick success and instant benefit, while others are selfish, which makes many people become short-sighted and utilitarian, lose their long-term pursuit of ideals and spirit, and make untrustworthy and irresponsible actions. \x0d\ In addition, in the process of the transition from the traditional economy to the market economy, the impact of the original moral order and the confusion caused by the failure to establish a new moral order to meet the requirements of the market economy, coupled with the insufficient development of the market economy, the imperfect market mechanism, the imperfect legal system, the lagging ethical standards of state civil servants, and the defects in the system of selecting and employing people are all important sources leading to the lack of social integrity.
