What are the main types of 3M glue?

Common ones are: urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive, polyvinyl acetate adhesive, polyacrylic resin adhesive, polyacrylic resin, polyurethane adhesive, hot melt adhesive, epoxy resin adhesive, synthetic adhesive, etc.

Urea-formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, melamine-formaldehyde glue: mainly used in wood processing industry.

Polyacrylic acid resin: mainly used for producing pressure-sensitive adhesive, and also used in textile and construction fields.

Polyurethane adhesive: It can bond a variety of materials, and after bonding, it can still maintain the physical and chemical properties of materials at low temperature or ultra-low temperature. Mainly used in shoemaking, packaging, automobiles, magnetic recording materials and other fields. (For example, polyurethane structural adhesive, a new material in Hua Fei, is widely used).

Hot melt adhesive: according to different raw materials, it can be divided into EVA hot melt adhesive, polyamide hot melt adhesive, polyester hot melt adhesive and polyolefin hot melt adhesive.

Epoxy resin adhesive: It can bond metal with most nonmetallic materials, and is widely used in buildings, automobiles, electronics, electrical appliances and daily household items.

Silicone adhesive is a kind of sealant, which has the characteristics of cold resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, water resistance, moisture resistance, high tensile fatigue strength, small permanent deformation and no toxicity.

Synthetic adhesive: mainly used in wood processing, construction, decoration, automobile, shoemaking, packaging, textile, electronics, printing and binding.

Adhesive for building: mainly used for decoration, sealing or bonding between structures in building engineering.
