Established in 1965, China seventh engineering bureau of water resources and hydropower co., ltd. is a large state-owned construction enterprise integrating construction, design, scientific research, investment, electric power production and sales, and has the special qualification of national general contracting of water resources and hydropower projects and the first-class qualification of national highway engineering construction.

More than 40 large and medium-sized hydropower stations, such as Taipingyi, Nanxin, Tongzhong, Dongxiguan, Tongtou and Bai Chan Temple, and hydropower projects, such as diversion tunnel on the right bank of Ertan, stilling basin at Xiaolangdi of the Yellow River, third-class lock of Wuqiangxi, Dayuan Watari Wataru Power Hub and diversion and power generation system of Guangxi Tianshengqiao first-class hydropower station, have a total installed capacity of 6,500 MW.

Participated in hydropower projects in Guinea, Somali, Tunisia, Albania, Iraq, North Korea, Mongolia, Thailand and other countries. Chengdu-Chongqing, Le Cheng, Chengdu-Mian, Chongqing-Guizhou, Yu He-expressway, some sections of Sichuan-Shaanxi high-grade highway, Mianyang Fujiang Second Bridge, Yellow River levee and Yangtze River levee, and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport aircraft repair garage have also been built.
