3. Public election procedure

1. Registration. The registration period starts from July 16, 2009 and ends on August 14, 2009. The scores of the written test and interview are accumulated according to the ratio of 4:6 to get the total score, and then the candidates for examination are determined from high scores to low scores according to the ratio of 1:3 for each publicly elected position.

4. Organize inspections. In accordance with relevant regulations, a comprehensive inspection will be conducted on the morality, ability, diligence, performance, integrity and other aspects of the inspection object.

5. Decide on candidates for office. Discuss and decide on candidates for each publicly elected position in accordance with cadre management authority, and make public announcements through the news media. If no problems affecting the appointment are found after the public announcement, the appointment procedures will be completed and the public election results will be announced to the public.

Leading cadres who are publicly selected and appointed shall be subject to a one-year probationary period, during which they shall enjoy corresponding treatment according to regulations. After the probationary period expires, those who are competent upon assessment will go through formal appointment procedures; those who are incompetent will be removed from their probationary positions.
