General situation of Hangu farm

1952 was led by the former Central Ministry of Agriculture and Reclamation, and 1953 was placed under the leadership of Hebei Farm Administration. From 1958 to 1960, the administrative divisions were transformed several times, and merged with the rural production teams of Ninghe in Tianjin and Feng Run in Hebei, and expanded to the existing scale. Since 1979, it has been managed by Hebei Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau. In March 2003, the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government decided to transfer the Hangu Farm from the Hebei Provincial Agricultural Reclamation Bureau to the jurisdiction of Tangshan City and set up the Hangu Management Zone in Tangshan City. The administrative area is 150 square kilometers, with a population of 47,000 and cultivated land of 85,000 mu. It has jurisdiction over Hanfeng Town (18 administrative villages), Agricultural Corporation (13 production teams), Zhenxing Sub-district Office (4 community neighborhood committees) and 1400 industrial and commercial households.
