2. Activity Process

In the early conversation with Director Shen of Youyi Community, we learned that some residential buildings within the jurisdiction of the community have no property management, and most of them are owned by outsiders. Population rental households. Usually there are no dedicated cleaners and security guards to carry out management and cleaning work. Therefore, the living environment is dirty, messy and poor. At our suggestion, the community staff agreed to lead us to that residential building to carry out sanitation work.

When I first came to the Baogan area of ??the community, it was a mess. The walkway in front of the building and the open space are covered with garbage and floating objects. The green space between the buildings is completely gone. There are rotten melon and fruit remains piled under the abandoned bricks. The thick and lush tree roots are wrapped in layers of white garbage. The community All kinds of onions, garlic and vegetables are grown in the green space, surrounded by wet, sticky, mottled and messy mud. There are countless plastic bottles, cans, used batteries and dirty paper towels everywhere.

Seeing the scene in front of them, all the students present put on their gloves silently, acted quickly, and shoveled down with a shovel. They could shovel out a thick layer of garbage, dead branches and leaves, melon cores and peels. , along with plastic bottles and fast food boxes, pour them into the garbage bag. The area as big as your palm needs to be shoveled at least three to five times before it can be completely eradicated and the soil can be seen. We bent down, squatted, used shovels, clamps, or picked it up directly with our hands to shovel, pick up, sort, and dump the garbage. We worked for more than three hours. We tried our best and finally completed the big task. Part of the cleaning work.

However, if we finish today, how can we guarantee that no one will throw garbage here tomorrow? Even if we do it every week, there is still no way to completely change the living environment of the residents here, and how to improve the happiness of the residents. What about the index? Everyone is thinking about where happiness comes from.

To this end, we conduct household surveys to understand their views on happiness and whether they need property and more help; we publicize government calls, stimulate environmental protection concepts and ownership awareness, and bring social care and warmth to them; more importantly, enter their lives and do our best to help them solve their difficulties. With our efforts, the environment of the community is improving day by day, and ecological construction has taken steps. More importantly, residents have the awareness to save resources and protect the environment, and together they have contributed their meager efforts to building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. force.

3. Insights from the activity

Through this activity, we realized that everyone desires and yearns for a clean, tidy and comfortable living environment, but sometimes lacks the awareness and concept of action. , happiness not only comes from the effective policies of the government and the attention and support of all levels of society, but also from oneself. If you want to obtain happiness, you must first invest savings in the bank of life and build and structure a civilized, hygienic and friendly environment. Only by building a framework can you reap your own happiness in the future.

At the same time, we understand the importance of social practice activities and the school’s good intentions in building a practice platform for us. When high school students enter the community, they are getting closer and closer to entering society. In today's society, big-character posters at job fairs always say "those with experience are preferred", but how much social experience do students who stay on campus all day have? The Inner Mongolia University of Technology Community is located at the intersection of Zhelimu Road and Aimin Road, Xincheng District. With a total area of ??0.5 square kilometers, there are 35 residential buildings, a total of 1,746 households, and a total population of 4,484 people (including 1,695 permanent households and a total population of 4,339 people). The residents are mainly composed of teachers from the University of Technology and their families.

The floating population is 51 households with 145 people, mainly engaged in self-employed business). There are 12,000 students in school. The resident unit is Inner Mongolia University of Technology.

The community currently has 7 staff members, including 5 formal cadres, with an average age of 35 years old, all of whom have a college degree or above. There are also 2 "4050" personnel, which are public welfare positions. The community office space is about 90 square meters. Equipped with computer, telephone and other office facilities. The party branch currently has 54 party members, (including 3 serving party members, 38 retired party members, 7 student party members, 4 retired military party members, and 2 laid-off party members).

There were 196 laid-off and unemployed people in the jurisdiction, and 190 people were re-employed. The employment rate of laid-off and unemployed people was 97.9%. Among them, 85 of the 4050 employees were re-employed, and 83 were re-employed. The employment rate of the 4050 employees was 97.6%. Through the activity, the neighborhood committee can understand the needs and wishes of the residents, and while the residents acquire environmental protection knowledge, they can also increase their understanding of the work of the neighborhood committee. IV. Internship Process

After identifying children as the service target, the choice of community was easy to solve. We took into consideration various aspects such as time, distance, convenience, and utilization of resource networks, and decided to use the University of Technology community as our internship target. Then everyone determined the time for each internship. Next, our group members *** went to the neighborhood committee of the University of Technology community to carry out our "first negotiation".

After learning that the neighborhood committee would support our work, we went to the Kindergarten of the University of Technology. We communicated with the deputy director, and they also expressed that they would try their best to support our work. It can be said that our internship has got off to a good start.

For the second internship, the three of us were responsible for taking care of the children taking naps. Although this internship has little to do with our internship content, we are just going to help, but through this form of help, we can gain the trust of the kindergarten and establish a solid foundation for us to establish a good working relationship. We mainly did some things in daily life such as waking up the children on time, guiding them to fold quilts, organizing them to drink water, etc., but we also felt that the methods of social work are everywhere.

The third internship is mainly about formal intervention work. In the first two times, we made preparations and paved the way for officially entering the work, and our main purpose of this internship is to understand the neighborhood committee and the Kindergarten of the University of Technology and win their support. In order to improve work efficiency and not affect the work of the staff of the neighborhood committee and the staff of the Kindergarten of the University of Technology, we divided the work into two groups. A group of boys went to talk to the neighborhood committee and collect relevant information about the neighborhood committee and the community. We girls were responsible for establishing a working relationship between the kindergarten and us. It was a pleasure to talk with Mr. Liu, the person in charge who received us. Second stage: determination of the theme of World Environment Day and change of activity objects

The sixth internship was the one in which we invested more but the result was a bit disappointing. At the beginning, the Sunshine Norka community was very supportive of our work and said they would provide a certain amount of financial investment for the event, provided that we need to formulate a plan as soon as possible. So, everyone spent the free time in the laboratory, focusing on discussing the contents of the plan. However, in the end, we learned that Sunshine NOKA had gone back on its word and no longer supported our work, which made us quite disappointed.

We had made so much effort but were rejected by them, which really made us a little disappointed at first. After learning about this situation, Teacher Huang educated us and encouraged us not to give up just because we were rejected, hoping that we would learn from it. Under her guidance, we were able to maintain a good attitude and face the setbacks in our work.

The third stage: formal determination of service targets and implementation of activities

The main content of the seventh internship is a partial supplement to the plan. After the setback in Sunshine Noka, our group reconnected with the community - the University of Technology community. And received strong support from the University of Technology community again. The theme of our event is still World Environment Day on June 5. Our main work is to make some supplements to the last plan designed for Sunshine Noka (because the theme is the same, there is not much change). Our discussion this time was mainly focused on issues in the operation process, such as the content of promotional pages, the borrowing of resources such as tables and chairs, recycling and production of waste products, etc., and we made some divisions of labor based on these contents. The event is about to be held, and everyone is doing their best.

The main content of the eighth internship is to supplement the final content. Such as painting of exhibition boards, cutting and pasting of cards, etc. We are all making the final push for the event.

The main content of the ninth and tenth internships is the formal activities and evaluation. We went to the event site early to arrange the event, and many unexpected situations occurred during the event: 1. The help of Wanjiahui Supermarket. During the entire activity process, the content of the plan is subject to change at any time in order to adapt to the situation at that time. 5. Internship Experience and Thoughts

1. There are two phenomena that aroused my thinking in the process of searching for neighborhood committees

(1) Residents are not sure about neighborhood committees location. Neighborhood committees are service organizations for community residents. They connect residents with residents, residents with neighborhood committees, and residents with the government. Moreover, neighborhood committee members do some mass work, and their communication with residents should be relatively frequent. Residents should be familiar with neighborhood committees. However, when we asked residents about the location of the neighborhood committee, many residents said they did not know the specific location.

(2) The neighborhood committee is in an inconspicuous position. Community service agencies are special service agencies, which are related to the development and construction of the community. It can also be said that it is the face of the community. From the location and layout of the University of Technology community, we can see that community construction needs urgent attention.

In response to the above phenomenon, I analyzed the following two reasons: First, the residents of the University of Technology community are highly mobile. Although the University of Technology community is affiliated with the campus community of the University of Technology, the residents here will move out for various reasons. Let some other non-local households or floating people move in. These groups have few opportunities to interact with the neighborhood committee and do not understand the community neighborhood committee. Second, there are few opportunities for community committees to interact with residents. They cannot come from the masses and go to the masses. If there are few opportunities for contact, there will be a lack of mutual understanding. In fact, the above two reasons are just superficial reasons. Ultimately, they are due to the current situation of the overall community in China. Due to China's special national conditions, the government is unable to properly implement community investment and construction, and is unable to provide macro-policy guidance and special resources for communities, which prevents community work from being put on a professional track.

2. There will be a positive correlation between effort and reward

?No pain, no gain? During the entire internship process, each of us is working hard and everyone works together. , work together to find ways and means for our activities. We discussed our plan many times and worked diligently on the specific implementation content of the plan. Through our efforts, the results of the event were remarkable. The mentality of "sit back and enjoy the success" will make people become lazier and lazier. As long as it is a group, the work belongs to everyone. Each member needs to have a sense of belonging and identification with the group, and must make their best efforts to achieve the group's goals. Through everyone's joint efforts, even though the results may not be satisfactory, we are enjoying the process and improving our own abilities and levels in all aspects.

3. Persevere and never give up

We have made several changes in selecting objects and selected the service objects that are most suitable for our activities. At the same time, we also changed the choice of communities several times. The most touching one was the setback of Sunshine Noka. Through this setback, we realized that difficulties always exist, and we need to face them with a good attitude. At the same time, we must be able to sum up experience from setbacks and provide guidance for the next work. We cannot give up our work because of setbacks and difficulties. As long as we don't give up and continue to work hard, we will gain something. "Hard work pays off", and the University of Technology community has given us strong support in terms of resources, which has promoted the smooth development of our work.

4. The plan must be adaptable, and following the steps will only cause negative effects on the work.

During our specific operations, many situations occurred beyond our expectations, and many situations occurred temporarily. For this reason, we do not have to execute the original plan exactly, but need to control the activities flexibly. But one thing is that we need to be careful not to become too outrageous. If the content of the activity has nothing to do with the plan, then all the previous efforts will be in vain. At the same time, if there is a big discrepancy between the activity content and the plan, it will also reflect the lack of ability of the organizer, which is equivalent to denying ourselves. Therefore, when we organize activities, we will make adjustments in some forms and contents, but many contents will not be changed, such as competition content, waste product display, publicity, etc.

5. Think carefully about the problem.

I think our original plan is more suitable for a relatively closed system. The activities we set up require people to participate for a certain period of time, and most of the people participating at that time were elderly people who did not know how to do it. We stayed at the event site for a long time. When we set up the plan, we considered this issue, but we did not pay attention to it, which made some situations on site very unexpected. To this end, this event provided us with a good lesson, telling us that every time we hold an event, we need to make as many assumptions as possible. Maybe the content taken into account did not happen on site, but if many temporary situations It cannot be controlled by us. If we do not make predictions and preparations in advance, an activity will have many negative effects. Regarding the issue of why we do not consider things thoroughly, I have analyzed the following reasons: 1. Mutual buck-passing and laziness. Go about your errands with the mentality that there will always be someone to do it and you don’t have to do it too well. 2. Fear of difficulties. In some cases, we will consider it, such as resource support, methods of recruiting members, etc., but we will give up considering the difficulties in the operation process. 3. 6. A clear division of labor is conducive to the smooth development of the work.

When we design the plan, each team member has a certain division of labor. When carrying out activities, everyone's division of labor seems a bit chaotic. Fortunately, we are not organizing a large-scale event, and the division of labor requirements do not need to be too clear. But if it is a very formal and large-scale activity, there needs to be a clear division of labor. Only when everyone performs their duties can we effectively integrate resources from all aspects and maximize the overall effectiveness.
