Introduction to Westgate Town

Meilong Town is a new town formed in 2001 by the merger of the original Tongzishan Township and the original Meilong Town. It has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 857 party members, and a land area of ??78.69 square kilometers. . Meilong Town is located in the northeast of Chizhou City, bordering Tongling City in the east, Chizhou City in the west, and the Yangtze River in the north. Provincial Highway 321 runs 17 kilometers from east to west through the town, and the highway along the river under construction passes side by side. There are 16 kilometers of Yangtze River coastline, with Qingtong River and Jiuhua River running through it from north to south.
