Introduction to Huizhou University Huizhou University is located in Huizhou, a national civilized city, a national historical and cultural city and an important city in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a full-time public undergraduate university in Guangdong Province, a pilot university for the transformation of ordinary undergraduate universities, an undergraduate university jointly built by provinces and cities, a provincial master's degree awarding project construction unit, the second batch of provincial-level dual-innovation demonstration bases, and a provincial-level project institution that created a national teacher education innovation experimental zone. The school covers an area of nearly 2,500 mu and enrolls students from 23 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), with full-time students16,798.

Rooted in the local area, it has a deep foundation and outstanding achievements. The school, formerly known as Huizhou Normal School in Guangdong Province, was founded in 1946. 1978 was upgraded to Huiyang Teachers College, and 199 1 was the only normal college in Guangdong Province commended by the State Education Commission, and was rated as a first-class university in the evaluation of the running level of colleges and universities in Guangdong Province. From 65438 to 0993, Huizhou University merged with Huizhou Branch of Northwest Textile Institute of Technology and Huizhou Education College to form a junior college level. In 2000, it was upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college, and in 2006, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
