Three summaries of the internship of merchandiser
have been practicing in the company for more than two months. During this period, I have experienced joys, sorrows, doubts, bittersweets and sorrows, which makes me gradually familiar with the company's organizational structure, business scope, personnel relations and corporate culture from a fledgling student, exercising in different positions and learning from different managers, which greatly broadens my horizons. This paper starts with the specific documentary post, mainly summarizing my understanding and understanding of the documentary post, as well as some experiences in the specific post.
1. Documentary and merchandiser
1. What is documentary?
Documentary is a literal translation of English walkthrough, which means that from the beginning of business to the end of business, it is generally a whole set of business processes from financial accounting to the end. Documentary is to repeatedly simulate the business process with the evidence, documents and reports left by these businesses that have happened.
2. Definition of Documentary Handler:
Documentary Handler refers to a full-time person who selects production and processing enterprises on behalf of the company in the process of international trade according to the relevant requirements of export commodities in signed business contracts, and guides and supervises them to complete production progress to ensure that the contracts are completed on schedule. All the people who work around the order and are responsible for the delivery date are merchandisers.
3. Work information of the merchandiser
The merchandiser's main job is to follow the product (service) operation flow and supervise the implementation of the order based on the customer's order during the operation of the enterprise's business process. He is a professional who carries out various businesses in various enterprises, and his personality is one of the basic talents in foreign trade business.
4. Importance of the work of the merchandiser
In today's increasingly competitive market economy environment, the importance of the merchandiser who deals with customers and orders is constantly highlighted. In many companies, the merchandiser has become the "personality assistant" of the bosses. The merchandiser is the link between the enterprise and the market, the salesman and the customer. With the diversification, small batch and accelerated pace of the commodity market, the quality of the merchandiser's work directly affects the company's service quality and corporate image.
merchandiser work is a very comprehensive and marginal "discipline": it should have the quality of salesman externally and the potential of production management internally. As a window for an enterprise to receive orders, follow orders and ship goods, it is unimaginable that the merchandiser does not understand the operation of the production links in the factory. In the production of orders, the executor is the production department, and the delivery rate pursued by the merchandiser is almost in the hands of the production department. Therefore, the potential of communication and follow-up is fatal. This is the challenge of merchandising. Sometimes, the merchandiser is the assistant of the business manager; Sometimes, the merchandiser is the assistant of all the business people in the business department; Sometimes, the merchandiser is the boss's assistant; More often, the merchandiser is the customer's assistant.
2. Understanding of the company's documentary post
1. Working materials of the documentary post
The working materials of our company's documentary post include: contract making, instruction making, shipping notice making, packing list and invoice making, checking of documents (phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, bill of lading, etc.), sending of documents, and recovery of payment; Contact customers in time, bring effective information (shipping notice, DHL number, cargo transportation status, etc.) to customers by mail, telephone or fax, and timely urge payment according to trade methods; Communicate with the sales manager in time, update the work sequence table and spreadsheet every day, bring effective information (production progress, customer delivery and payment, customer requirements) to the sales manager, and make contracts and instructions according to the sales manager's ideas; Coordinate with colleagues in time, confirm the phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin with documents, confirm the shipping date with shipping, and confirm the bill of lading with freight forwarders.
2. How to do the documentary work better
In the documentary work, we must continue to be careful, careful and careful in every link, because if every mistake we make in our work will bring a lot of trouble and losses, for example, if we make mistakes in confirming the certificate of origin, quality inspection certificate and bill of lading, it will bring some unnecessary losses to the company. If we make mistakes in numbers when making invoices, Therefore, we must be serious and meticulous in our future work.
In order to do a good job in documentary work, I think we should start from the following aspects:
1) Be familiar with customers. Be familiar with our customers' demand situation and its laws, such as what kind of goods a customer likes, what specifications, what special requirements, etc., which are all necessary for our merchandisers to understand and be familiar with.
2) in-depth understanding of product knowledge. Only when we have a better understanding of our products can we work more effectively and reduce some low-level mistakes, such as how many kilograms of apples are packed in what specifications, how many boxes can be packed in a container, and the temperature and ventilation in this container. This is also the basic common sense that we must understand.
3) contracts and instructions. When we make a contract, we must communicate with the sales manager more, such as the specifications, weight, amount and shipping date of the goods the customer wants. Make sure it is correct before sending it to the customer. It is also particularly important when making instructions. Every item on the instructions should be filled in carefully, because all employees in the company work around the instructions we have made, so there should be no mistakes.
4) in the confirmation of documents. We must understand the importance of documents to our customers. It may seem to us that an inconspicuous mistake will be a great trouble to our customers, and even directly affect their normal delivery, so we must be accurate.
5) In making packing lists and invoices. When we get the certificate of origin, we can make the invoice of the box, put it away first, and check it several times a day before sending the documents to the customers, which can effectively reduce the error rate.
6) in sending documents to customers. When we have prepared the documents required by our customers, we should be more careful when we confirm that we can send them to our customers. According to our customers' payment terms, some customers can send them directly (such as DHL/TNT), while others need us to send them through the bank. When we send them to the bank, we need to make an Export Collection Power of Attorney and hand it over to the bank. In the meantime, we must fill in the collecting bank, the payer and the collection amount accurately and then hand it over to the bank.
7) tracking payment, documents and goods. Every time we send a batch of goods and send a set of documents, we must track them in time until we receive the payment from the customer, which is considered to be the completion of the tracking of this ticket.
2
In the short term, my goal in the company is: I hope I can take over different types of orders faster and more, and be able to follow orders all the time. Strengthen communication and understanding with other members of the company and become an excellent merchandiser. Two months passed silently with a flick of a finger, and it was at this time that I suddenly realized that the days were in a hurry when I needed to look back and summarize. The following is a summary of my work:
After two months of sharpening the knife and practicing the array, it stands to reason that whether I am a treasure knife or a rusty iron should be able to show my due luster from the dribs and drabs of these days, but until now, I have no confidence in my own luster-although I firmly believe that I am not a rusty iron! During these two months, I have 2 days to practice in the workshop and get familiar with the products. Starting from the second month, I went into the office to get familiar with the business documentary process.
in the past two months, I have conscientiously abided by the company's rules and regulations, and consciously and effectively completed everything I have handled. And summarize the new projects that I see and hear every day. At the same time, I also insist on keeping a work diary (recording the status of the guest's list in time).
I always adhere to the principle of "do what you do on the same day", and I am responsible for what I handle, and even more responsible for the company. After 2 days of workshop study, I can independently make many conventional products produced by our company, can distinguish whether the products are qualified or not, and know how to make the products look more beautiful (tips). The summary of work practice in the workshop was given to some managers in the form of a summary in each workshop before, so I won't make further summary there.
I'd like to summarize my study in the office. As far as the overall work experience is concerned, I am still quite satisfied. It's just that sometimes, there will be a little feeling of manipulation without head or tail. Some things seem to be the beginning, but what is the end? Some things are simply in the middle and manipulated foolishly.
During this period, the main shortcomings in my work are:
1. I haven't really been included in the big family of Wenzhou Petty. I don't know much about the topics of other colleagues in many companies. This may be because I just came here, and many thoughts can't keep up with their rhythm. But I have already realized this subtle relationship. I believe I can make progress in the coming days.
2. I haven't had a chance to practice the delivery and shipping, and the whole documentary seems to be incomplete without this link;
3。 I don't know enough about the company's production and operation. Although there are these bottlenecks in my work at the moment, I believe that as long as I keep learning and summing up. I must be able to make progress in the coming days.
My main achievements in my work are as follows:
1. In the process of preparing for the EU delegation to visit our company, I learned how to make tables in various parts;
2. Learn the basic operation methods of erp system and Wanbao system;
3. I am familiar with the division of labor of company employees. Although there have been embarrassing situations during this period, for example, I don't know who I should go to when I encounter professional problems, but I can finally cope with them at this moment;
4. Have a basic understanding of the operation process of our business documentary; I understand that the above work performance may not satisfy the leaders. Frankly speaking, I don't have much confidence myself. But I firmly believe that I can do better in my future work and ensure that the leaders are satisfied.
Third
When the exam in November is over, we can't wait to leave school and look forward to the day when we will start working. Simply packed my luggage and came to this strange city-Shenzhen. Students who have just left school will not have so many choices. As long as they can learn something and get in touch with a lot of knowledge, the job is worthwhile. After half a month's search, I finally entered the internship factory as a documentary assistant at the moment.
This internship factory is a garment factory. Its main business is ski clothes, down jackets and mountaineering clothes, and sometimes it also makes other types of clothes! I entered the business department, and there are four groups in the business department. Each group has only two people, the team leader and the assistant. Although there are few people in the business department, it is a very important department. The operation of the whole factory is closely related to the work of the business department! Our group is engaged in FOB business. Simply put, it deals directly with foreign customers, which is very stressful for me, because the requirements for English are relatively high, and I am a little worried because my English potential has always been average!
when I first entered the factory, many things were strange, both for people and things. I don't know anything. First of all, I came into contact with the understanding of clothes and materials. Although many things are often seen in our daily life, even on our own clothes, it is difficult for me to understand the professional names of some things for a while. The team leader gave me a material id to familiarize me with her name by comparing the above material samples. No one will teach you seriously, and many things have to be explored by myself. After getting familiar with it gradually, I began to contact with English-made bills. When I first saw the dense English, my head was big. The team leader wouldn't teach you what it meant word by word, but just gave me a bunch of English-made bills with translations, so I could get familiar with them myself!
I only have to bite the bullet and watch it. At first, I felt that even people who are above CET-6 may not be able to understand it as long as they are not clothing majors. But after a while, I suddenly found that it is not very difficult. Many things are interlinked, and there are only those names and sentences! After some preliminary preparations were completed, I began to formally contact the work flow of documentary.
In fact, documentary is generally the follow-up of the whole process from product birth to final mass production. Our work is not so detailed, and everything must be followed up by us personally, starting with receiving orders, making bills, doing initial office, PP office, prenatal office and output. This is the general process of the whole documentary, but for the whole process, it is basically the same!
the first step of following orders is to take orders. The customer will send us the clothes he needs to make, and we will make a standardized format according to the rough information brought by the customer and through our own sorting and extraction. This step is very important, because there are no ready-made finished products for reference in the operations of various departments, so many jobs can only be completed by this preparation. Therefore, we must have a good knowledge of these products. Because making a bill is only a written thing, and sometimes there is still a necessary distance between writing and reality, it is not impossible in theory, but there will be various unexpected problems in actual operation. As a follow-up, it is the most critical thing to deal with all problems, so it is necessary to grasp it well and try to avoid mistakes, which requires careful inspection of the previous work before the next step. Because all the work is equivalent to an assembly line, there are problems with the previous work, which will inevitably affect the subsequent work. If the mistakes in the previous work are not found in time, then when these problems are realized in the subsequent work, it will be suspected that it is better late than never, and all the work is in vain and must be reworked. This requires not only experience, but also serious and responsible familiarity with the work. The first round of process development is mainly the development of main materials, in which we need to find the main body fabric required by customers. If the company doesn't have it, we have to find suppliers to help develop it.
after making the bills, we should take them to the sample room, which will carry out the follow-up work according to the information on the bills, and in this process, we should constantly follow up its development progress. At the same time, the pattern master may encounter some questions in the process of development, so we must help them solve the problems and explain them clearly. If even we don't understand the problems, we must communicate directly with the customers. Usually, there are fewer problems encountered in the process of doing the initial office, because the initial office is only a prototype, and it is only a rough fender to make a mold. After the pattern is printed, there will be a special cutting machine to cut it. I must follow up the progress of their work. After cutting, I must send these pieces to the sewing machine and send them to other departments for processing and production if there is transfer printing or other special processes. In this whole process, I must be familiar with what each working procedure requires, and clearly understand what to do and what effect to achieve.
